TREE Society (Training Resources for Enabling Enterprises Society) comprises of people from diverse corporate backgrounds who contribute part of their time towards teaching rural micro-entrepreneurs appropriate business skills.

As a group, we firmly believe that to bring about sustainable socio-economic change, we must go beyond philanthropy and bring knowledge and skills to disadvantaged groups in rural India. And we decided to do this by creating business management training for social enterprises.

“My advise to future participants: This knowledge is not in reach of rural people, so don’t miss the opportunity.” - Brahmeshwar Rao, CREAM participant, 2009
“CREAM course is a good opportunity to convert a livelihood activity into a business activity and increase income.” - K.Ravi, CREAM Participant, 2009
“After the finance module I went and collected the data to realise that because of incorrect reporting we were thinking we are making losses while we are actually making profits.” - Vinod, CREAM participant, 2011
“Now I can explain all costs and reason for high price to customers in exhibitions, don’t have to remain silent when they question me” - Hemlata, CREAM participant, 2011
